Six months in, without the day‑one post
What the first half‑year at Teamspective actually looked like, instead of the “humbled and energized” announcement.

“I’m excited to share that I’ve joined a new position…” 🤡
…is what I could have posted on day one and said a lot without saying anything at all. You know the drill. We’ve all been guilty.
So instead of pretending day one was “humbling” and “energizing”, here’s what the first six months at Teamspective actually looked like:
- Learning where the real problems are.
- Discovering, once again, that the hardest thing is prioritisation.
- Shipping things that mattered — and trying to figure out what didn’t.
- Learning a ton about HR software I didn’t even know existed.
I’m also glad to have been part of the push to make Teamspective the definitive AI leader in people analytics and HR tech.
Fun fact: building the new teamspective.com was my first project — from first commit to production in a month. It’s also the first time in many years I’ve had to put on the designer hat.
